The Gary & Vivienne Player Foundation
in the US

The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation was established in the United States in 2021 to honor Vivienne Player’s memory and continue the lifelong mission she and Gary shared: to provide vulnerable children with a safe and nurturing environment in which to thrive.

Gary and Vivienne firmly believed that the cycle of poverty can be broken by giving children access to quality education, essential health care, and safer communities.

The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation in the US is excited to announce our newest initiative, PLAE--The Player Academy of Excellence. PLAE is an innovative out-of-school-time academy helping underserved youth build confidence, literacy, leadership, wellness, and life skills through structured pathways of growth. PLAE launches in Philadelphia in Fall 2026.
